Hi Everyone, Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season. Makah and Friends was a great event. I want to thank everyone who came out and supported the artists. I just wanted to make one quick last minute announcement. I will be at Discovery Park Tomorrow (Sat Dec 18th) for an art market. The market starts at 10 and goes until 4 or 5 I’m not sure which. It will be my last market of the year so if you want something come and get it. Thanks for the support throughout the year. Take Care

Hi Everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We eat lots of turkey, pumpkin pie, and pecan pie. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and one I hope you all enjoy. OK now on to business. I’ll be at the NMAI in New York this weekend for their annual holiday art market. come by and say hi. It’s free to get in, and there are always wonderful artists in attendance. It’s at One Bowling Green in Manhattan, and quite an interesting building as well and being a good show. I hope to see you there.

Gray’s Papaya here we come.

Lincoln City this weekend!

Hi Everyone,
I’ll be back at Lincoln City this weekend for a show at the Chinook Winds Casino. I’ll be packing everything there. I’ll have serigraphs of course, along with t-shirts, cards, maybe a drum or two, and some dinnerware sets. I look forward to coming back, it’s always a good time, they have a great buffet, and the town is pretty fun to visit as well. I hope to see you there, take care.

Autry Show recap

I can understand why California is the most populous state. Warm weather and sunshine are good for the soul. The Autry show was a lot of fun I made some great contacts (and wonderful trades). I had a few interesting things happen when I was there.
It seems the world is getting smaller and smaller all the time. A young man approached my booth with a big grin, he looked at one of my serigraphs (Kindred Spirits) and excitedly told me that he had it in his home. His family had visited the Steinbrueck Gallery in Seattle, they had seen the piece as soon as they walked in and had to get it. I can’t describe what it feels like to hear stories like that. I know that the work has reached many corners of the world, but to actually meet someone who has purchased work from a third party thousands of miles away is pretty amazing. Thanks for that. Also thanks for adding to your collection. I truly appreciate everyone who stops by to chat and those who support the art by purchasing pieces thank you so much, it makes a big difference and makes it possible for me to travel and share the work with a wider audience.
I love California and hope to return sometime soon to enjoy the sun, and fresh produce. If you know of any shows in the area feel free to contact me, I’d be interested. Take Care Everyone, hope you have a wonderful day.

Reminder

I have been getting a lot of people asking where they can find some of my work in the Puget Sound area. Here is a little reminder. My work can be found in Seattle at the Steinbrueck Native Art Gallery, it’s a great gallery with very nice folks you should stop by and see them sometime. Here is their website address: http://www.steinbruecknativegallery.com/

If you are in the South Sound you can find my work at Little Creek Casino near Shelton, both in the hotel and the gift shop. I plan on stocking them up again pretty soon too.
If you are in Olympia you can find my work at State of the Arts Gallery. Here is their website: http://www.thestateofthearts.com/

There are a couple of other galleries and gift shops that also carry my work but these places have the biggest selection. Of course you can visit my studio (if you make an appointment) and see pretty much all the work I have available. That’s about if for now Take Care

Upcoming Events

Hi everyone! I don’t have any events planned for October but you never know if something will come up or not. My next event is a good one. I will be at the Autry National Museum in Los Angeles November 7-8th. Here is their

website: http://www.autrynationalcenter.org/intertribal/

The next event will be November 20-22 at Chinook Winds in Lincoln City Oregon. Here is the casino’s website even though there isn’t currently any information on the site you can get directions and stuff like that.

After that I will be at the National Museum of the American Indian (New York) for a Holiday art Market to be held December 5-6th. This is one of my favorite events. I love visiting New York and always look forward to the show. If you or anyone you know is in the area send them out since I don’t get to the East Coast very often. Here is a link to the events section of the NMAI website.

Finally I will end with the last of my scheduled events and that is the 52nd annual Heard Museum’s Indian art market held March 6th and 7th 2010 in Phoenix Arizona. One of the best and largest Indian Art Markets in the country always a pleasure if you haven’t been there is a little something for every taste if you like Indian art at all there is something for you at the Heard. Here is their website: http://www.heard.org/

There are all my upcoming shows months in advance. I am looking at a couple more and will post them when a decision is made. I will certainly be doing at least one possibly two more events in December and am always looking for more good events so if you know of any please let me know. Take Care

T-Shirts

I’ve been getting asked quite a bit about our t-shirts and whether or not they are online yet. Well they aren’t online yet since I haven’t figured out how to link inventory with the website. However I’ll probably try to get some pictures either on the site or the blog sometime soon for those of you who haven’t seen the shirts yet. If you really want one just e-mail me and I’ll let you know if we have your size in stock. We currently don’t have any more small or med. sizes and just ran out of our 4x’s as well.
I think that’s about it for the t-shirt update. Have a wonderful day wherever you happen to be.

Twilight connections

A while ago I worked on a printing project with the Chehalis Tribe. I worked with many young upcoming artists and printed their work. One of the results of this project was the creation of a calendar, which is sold in several shops and stores throughout the region. Apparently the producers of the next “Twilight” movie saw the calendar and are going to use it somehow in their movie.
Apparently this is a cool thing. My 12 yr old daughter is really excited.

ATNI

Hi Everyone. I’ll be at the Tacoma Convention Center all week for the ATNI conference. Hope to see you there. I’ll bring out well basically everything. T-shirts, serigraphs, dinnerware, and cards. If there was ever a time to see our products, now is that time. I’ll be in a selling mood since this is the last big show before I head back to school.
